If there is a fire advice is: Get Out. Stay Out. Call 999.

If someone is unable to get out, they should:

  • grab a mobile phone if possible

  • gather everyone in one room

  • keep the door closed - pack it with towels and pillows to keep smoke out.

  • Open a window and shout for help - stay close to a window so fire fighters can see you
