Emergency Funds

Scottish Government Welfare Fund includes Crisis Grants for people on a low income who have no money because of a disaster or emergency.

For example if:

  • they need help to get food or heating

  • there is a fire or flood at their home

  • they’ve lost money

  • there is an unexpected crisis

  • they are moving away from an abusive relationship

  • they are waiting for benefits

  • there is a gap in income due to change in circumstances
